Prince Yakub Yakub who earlier declared his intention to join the race for the State House of Assembly seat for Ankpa 1 Constituency, Kogi state in the 2019 on Monday picked his intent form at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Secretariat Lokoja.
Prince Yakub is a key aspirant in the Ankpa I House of Assembly race.
Speaking at the State PDP Secretariat in Lokoja, the politician noted that his determination is to give effective representation to the people of Ankpa 1 Constituency.
“After due consultation, I have decided to offer myself for services to my great constituents as a candidate for the House of Assembly.
“If elected, my main focus for the constituency will be on human capital development.
“I declared this intention solemnly with the awareness of the onerous challenges that lay ahead and, powered by our dogged commitment to survive and weather the storms as they may come, in acknowledgment that no true path towards growth and development is without an admixture of thorns.
“I am soliciting for your support as the need to put smiles on the faces of Ankpa 1 is sacrosanct,” he said.
