Ankpa: Enjema Elders Commends Rabiu Alfa’s Stewardship, Assures Him of Continued Support

Enjema elders, under the aegis of the Old Enjema District Development Association, has commended the member representing Ankpa 2 constituency at the Kogi State House of Assembly, Alhaji Alfa Momoh for his developmental strides in the constituency assuring him of their continued support.
The pledge came at the heels of a thank you visit made by delegates of the association who came to deliver the message of the association’s resolutions at it last meeting held in Lokoja.
Shortly after the opening prayer which was led by Mallam Mohammed Makolo, the association chairman and leader of the delegation, Elder J. J. Abu disclosed their mission for the visit and declared the association’s resolve to support his second term ambition as he eulogised the legacy works of Rabiu Alfa.
In his eye witness account of attendance at the commissioning ceremony of Hon Rabiu Alfa. A former house of assembly aspirant for Ankpa 2 on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party, Hon Tijani Sule expressed satisfaction at the whole exercise saying the people’s honorable made the area proud indeed vis-a-vis the heavy presence of dignitaries he pulled down cum car gift to a supporter, developments he described as first of its kind.
Earlier, the secretary of the association, Mr Amos Sani took time to outline how impressed he is with the performance of Hon Rabiu Alfa confessing the area have produced several members before now and none of them can match the strides recorded by Hon Rabiu Alfa in the period under review concluding that there is no alternative to reelecting him.
In his response, Alhaji Alfa Momoh Rabiu thanked the August visitors for their unalloyed support and the pledge of allegiance vowing not to deter in his commitment to delivering dividends of democracy to the people he represents.
In his vote of thanks, W.O. Joseph Jibrin Edino (Rtd) buttressed the goodwill of preceding speakers and charged the delegation to offer special prayers for the honorable member before departure. To this effect, Mallam Aminu Amidu offered Muslim prayers while Elder J. J. Abu offered prayers in Christian faith.
