The wife of the Honorable member representing Ankpa 1 state constituency and the Deputy majority leader of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Ahmed Mohammed, put smiles on the faces of widows and orphanage homes in Ankpa LGA today, along with the wife of Hon. Rabiu Alfa of Ankpa 2 and the Administrator Ankpa LGA.
They begin their tour with a visit to the palace of the Onu Ankpa, Alh. Abdulmalik Umar, for his blessings before proceeding to the orphanage homes.
Speaking with Mrs. Amina Ahmed, she said that visiting the children and showing love to them is very necessary, and assuring them of subsequent visits, adding that nothing is too small to bring joy to the neglected and abandoned children in the society.
Items presented to the orphanage includes bag of rice, cartons of biscuits, bathing soaps, cartons of indomie noodles, Pampers, and lots of food items.
