The member representing Ankpa 2 constituency at the Kogi state house of assembly, Hon Alfa Momoh Rabiu has finally bowed to pressure to recontest and shall be formally declaring intent on Sunday, 2nd September 2018.
The honorable member who is also the chairman of the house standing committee on water resources has been under pressure since his mid term in office and after series of consultations shall be recontesting on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to insider reports, the declaration shall be in two phases, that is; at one venue each for Enjema and Ojoku districts which make up the Ankpa 2 constituency.
Whereas, the 2019 election has been described by many political pundits as unpredictable, Ankpa 2 constituency is unambiguously the contrary owing to the immeasurable strides of the honorable whose political profile is rising by the day.
In addition to the even spread of his good works across the constituency, it is worthy of note that Hon Rabiu has in the period under review prioritised his people by virtue of his unprecedented closeness to the grassroots and hence, his reelection shall be a walkover.
