As the 2019 general elections come to a close, the member representing Ankpa II constituency at the Kogi state house of assembly, Hon Alfa Momoh Rabiu has picked the expression of intent and nomination forms of the All Progressives Congress, APC to seek reelection in to the Kogi state house of assembly.
The honorable member who doubles as chairman of the house standing committee on water resources picked the forms mid day of Friday, 7th September 2018 making it barely a week after his declaration of intent to seek reelection.
The honorable who has always committed his ambition to almighty Allah as in his consistent remark – “power belongs to the almighty Allah” noted shortly after picking the form that his quest for reelection is geared at availing him the opportunity to consolidate on the legacies of his current term in office.
Whereas the party has since commenced sales of nomination forms, the party equally mandated that all forms of intending aspirants must be collected and submitted on or before Tuesday 11th September, 2018.
It will be recalled that Ankpa local government went agog last weekend during the declaration of intent by Hon Rabiu Alfa and that was described by many political analysts as an unarguable pointer to his popularity and acceptance, virtues which are requisite to political successes.
