Rector, Kogi State Polytechnic, Prof Salisu Ogbo Usman, has been described as an exceptional administrator with a knack for excellence.
Dr. Kamaldeen Toyin, Senior Special Assistant to Kogi State Governor on Local Contents, in a statement issued in Lokoja on Saturday, celebrated Prof Usman Ogbo on his 52nd birthday anniversary.
He stated that Prof. Usman Ogbo is celebrating another year of dedicated service to education and community development.
“Prof. Ogbo has led the institution since the year 2020, implementing various reforms and development projects aimed at enhancing academic excellence, infrastructure, and student experience. His tenure has been characterized by innovative initiatives, strategic partnerships, and a commitment to inclusivity.
“Under his leadership, the polytechnic has witnessed significant growth and transformation, earning recognition as a leading tertiary institution in Nigeria. Stakeholders, including the government, students, staff, and alumni, have praised Prof. Ogbo’s visionary leadership, administrative acumen, and passion for education.
“Prof. Ogbo, who holds a distinguished chieftaincy title in Ogidi Kingdom, my community, is a respected figure in Kogi State’s education sector. His contributions to education policy, research, and community development have been acknowledged through various awards and recognitions,” he stated.
Dr Kamaldeen wished the Polytechnic Rector “a joyous birthday and another year of success, wisdom, and service to humanity.”
