Senator Smart Adeyemi has commiserated with the related and political families of the Chairman Kogi East APC Elders Advisory Council, Alhaji Ibrahim Linco Ocheje who passed away yesterday.
Adeyemi described the deceased while he was alive, as a committed statesman to the successful reign of Gov. Yahaya Bello, with a lot of experience.
According to the senator, the deceased attached so much significance to the unity and peaceful coexistence within the people of Kogi State.
Adeyemi, the former Kogi West Chairman, APC Elders Advisory Councils said it is very pathetic and tragic that we lost Alh Linco as at the point of tapping from his wealth of experience is most required.
“Alh Ocheje will be greatly missed by the good people of Kogi state because, he cuts across all divides and his passion for political development in the State can never be underestimated.
“It is so much painful that, he departed at this particular moment in the history of our political refinement in Kogi State. As believed by the Muslim faithfuls, ‘indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to him we will all return.’ I wholy sympathise with both his political and related families and pray Allah SWT to forgive him all his shortcomings throughout his living and grant his families, the mental and emotional strength that will enable courage in the face of this adversity,” he said.
