Which business Kabiru Onyene is involved in that fetch him much more money (MMM) to build about five houses in Ebiraland and building multiple filling station across the state? Is this democracy that was defined as government of the people by the people and for the people? This Kogi government is a government of few by few for the few. August is August change is inevitable…
My response to the above post;
The more visible a political leader’s commitment to the common good, the more effective that leader will be creating a political environment that’s welcoming to business. On a leader’s focus on raising the standard of living, Alh. Kabiru Aliyu Ozi Onyene possessed such quality.
The Personal Assistant on Domestic Matters to Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Kabiru Aliyu OziOnyene who is also one of the most influential leaders in Adavi local government. He is as well a business tycoon. You can easily differentiate him among other state appointees because of his entrepreneurial talent.
Since I have known him, he could be well described as the most truthful and loyal appointee to his Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello, who is always committed to finding a lasting solution to any obstacles facing Adavi LGA whenever the Council Boss, Hon. Joseph Omuya Salami and other Administrators seek for his assistance.
For those that don’t know him, Alh. Kabiru has been excelling in business before he ventured into politics solidarity with the Governor of Kogi State. He understands the grassroots being his root; He is sensitive to the needs of the people and he has a history of making positive inputs in Kogi Central and Adavi LG where he hails from.
He’s a leader who always motivates those that surround him and help them to accomplish their goals that will benefit the community.
Aside from his political ideology, with my Boss, Hon. Joseph Omuya Salami, I do hear him saying it to my Boss to keep doing what he knows how to do best in term of business before he became the Administrator of Adavi LG.
Even if it match sticks he knows how to sell, he advises him not to quit from it because of his position. He often reminds him and the rest of the state appointees who are close to him to always remember that there is life after politics and that the only thing they can depend on is to invest wisely to keep life moving and still be able to help those in needs.
“It is not that I earn much, but I have to invest and save the little money I make. Most of the places I run my businesses are being rented from someone and some are projects I embarked on before I assumed office and had to obtain loan to finish it up in order for me to set-up the business,” he once said.
From my findings, most of the businesses Alh. Kabiru ventured into are being managed by the youth from Kogi State. Part of the major reason he invested in his homeland is to be able to get close to the grassroots and as well engaged our youths who have nothing doing off from the street.
Alh. Kabiru has been touching the lives of his people positively before now, and if you cannot encourage him to keep doing it, don’t say anything to make him feel discouraged, especially now he has more opportunity to touch more lives.
I believe he knows his way to Kaduna/Kano, Lagos or any other commercial city to invest on but he rather preferred to bring it down to be of benefit to his people as well add more development to the state.
Alh. Kabiru is the kind of leader we youths should always look up to, and pray to Almighty God to always protect him for us and discover more of his kind amongst us from the state. His words alone inspire those who are opportuned to have a real conversation with him. May we learn to appreciate good people as appreciation is an energizer that motivates men of good will to keep doing more.
For this statement: “August is August, change is inevitable”. Yes, August is August and change is inevitable for the continuity project of his Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello till 2023. It is sealed and ordained by the will of Almighty God and the people of Kogi state. August is a “walkover” for Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello and November is an early morning win for him, and victory we shall all celebrate. Let the wailers keep it up while Alh. Adoza pilot the affairs of Kogi State to our dreamland till 2023.
Finally, Adavi people and the entire kogites will definitely support the continuity of the Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello led administration by voting overwhelmingly for him in the forthcoming governorship election slated for November 2nd, 2019 by God’s Grace.
