The member representing Ankpa 2 constituency at the Kogi state house of assembly, Alh. Alfa Rabiu attends the launching ceremony of Igala translated Quran MP3 in memory of the late chief Imam of JIBWIS, Ankpa, Imam Idris Tahir.
In his goodwill message, Hon. Alfa eulogised the late cleric and applauded the initiative of immortalising him charging all to emulate his exemplary lifestyle which he termed as been evident in the calibre of persons gracing his memorial occasion.
The epoch event which took place at the Ankpa township stadium had in attendance many high dignitaries among whom were H.E Alh. Sule Iyaji, former deputy governor of the old Benue state, the Onu Ankpa, Alh. Abdul Malik Umar, the Onu Ojoku, Alh Muhammad Alfa, and Alh Hassan Enape.
Others were Chief Administrator of Ankpa LG, Hon Muhammad Ibrahim (Ayuba Nana), the Ejeh of Dekina, Alh Usman Obaje, Hon Danjuma Musa among other respected individuals from different strata of the society.
Hon Rabiu Alfa launched the Quranic tafsir (MP3 Igala Translation) with the sum of one hundred thousand naira only separately breaking down fifty thousand naira on behalf of himself and another fifty thousand naira on behalf of the good people of Ojoku and Enjema that makes up Ankpa 2 constituency.
