The National leadership of Ekinrin-Adde Community Development Association (EACDA) has constituted an 11-man management board for Ekinrin-Adde Community Radio Station, Akogba 88.3 FM, which was commissioned in June 2023.
The Ekinrin-Adde Community Radio station is the first of its kind in Ijumu land, and all of the Okun Nation.
The Board is headed by the celebrated and multiple award-winning investigative journalist, Babajide Kolade-Otitoju, who chaired the Technical Committee that set up the station.
According to a statement signed by Adekanye Victor Adewale, National Publicity Secretary of EACDA, members of the board are: Prince Babajide Kolade-Otitoju, Chairman; Prof. Gbenga Solomon Ibileye, Ambassador Rufus Aiyenigba, Prince Emmanuel Olajide Ayeniko, Chief (Dr.) Bukola Ayeni, Pst. Stanley Ajileye, Managing Director; High Chief Teslim Elebilu (representative of the Olu-Adde In Council), Mr. Sunday Ayeniko, Ayodele Olaniyan, Mrs. Comfort Olabisi Ogunleye, and Mr. Babajide Obafemi (Secretary).
He noted that the board members were carefully selected on the basis of their past contributions to the community, particularly, the value they have individually and collectively added to the success story of the community radio, which has on account of its wide reach and richness of program content, become a darling station for our rural folks and pride to the Okun Nation in general within the short time it has been on air and enjoying rave reviews.
The board is to report to the National President of the EACDA.
