In the realm of Ajaokuta politics, one name commands unyielding respect and fear, Hon. Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem, known as (SEA). To underestimate his prowess as a lawmaker is to venture into dangerous territory. Those who dare to challenge him would do well to remember that SEA is not just a politician. He is a master strategist, a relentless conqueror in the battle ground of governance.
Since ascending as the Federal Lawmaker for Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, SEA has carved a niche through his leadership acumen, resilience, and a track records that speaks volumes. His tenure is a hallmarks for tremendous achievements, his reputation is fortified by a history of astute strategic thinking and formidable decision making, enabling him to turn rivalry into advantages. He navigates the often turbulent waters of politics not with noise but with a quiet confidence that leaves his detractors reeling and confused like à loss sheep.
In his fast growing political journey, SEA has demonstrated an uncanny ability to utilize opponents tactics against them. Anyone who has observed his rise from civil service to legislative power knows that SEA does not merely react he anticipates. His victory over seasoned politicians, including a two-time House of Representatives member and a former local government chairman, was not a stroke of luck but a calculated and rugged approach that seems to be unusual and rare.
Perhaps what provoke detractors most is SEA’s political agility and ferocious tactics. Despite being a first timer in the contest and a newcomer to the All Progressives Congress, he outmaneuvered seasoned insiders to secure his position as the party’s flagbearer. Every obstacle thrown his way only served to sharpen his resolve and reaffirm his position as a formidable force in Ajaokuta’s political landscape, sometimes he was even gifted with unsolicited valuables, yet he conquer, trivialising all strategies against its dotted loopholes.
Relentlessly, in the shadows of SEA’s triumph, detractors have emerged, working tirelessly to sow discord and undermine his achievements. They resort to reckless and unsubstantiated attacks, failing to understand the indomitable spirit of this dogged conqueror. Ignoring the lessons of the past, they initiate distractions that they believe will weaken his impact. Let this serve as a warning. Engaging SEA in a battle of might is a fool’s errand, an uncalculated step, it is a venture that typically leads to disappointments and disarray
During the administration of former Governor Yahaya Bello, SEA exemplified strategic restraint, choosing not to brandish himself as a lieutenant of the administration. This tactical decision made many underestimate his capabilities, completely missing the reality that he was a significant player in the political arena.
Today, with Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, SEA’s association continues to bear fruit, inciting frustration and fear among those who oppose him. SEA’s connection with the governor is not opportunistic. It is a collaboration aimed at benefiting the good people of Ajaokuta and promoting state development.

Every insightful observer will recognize SEA’s alliance with the governor as a constructive partnership, not merely a ploy for electoral advantage as promoted by detractors. A strong partnership between a lawmaker and the chief executive is undoubtedly beneficial and is paving the way for significant developments that we are already witnessing.
For example, the Geregu rice mill stands as a state industry that showcases this partnership’s positive impact, the establishment of five LNG plants in Ajaokuta is a direct result of the Governor’s input, along with many other proposed companies in the region, demonstrating that SEA’s collaboration is truly valuable and worthy. All the aforementioned achievements will in no doubt pave way for infrastructures and place Ajaokuta as competitive force in this Nation.
Progressive minded citizens of Ajaokuta appreciate the relationship between SEA and the Governor, while critics and opposition voices often approach this alliance with skepticism, fueled by animosity and threats. However, there’s no need for this high tension. This period should be about governance and development, as elections are still far away. Let’s focus on fostering positive change that benefits our community.
