Ajaokuta APC Stakeholders Meet, Strategize Ahead of Chairmanship Election

Ahead of the October 19th Chairmanship election, key stakeholders of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ajaokuta convened at the residence of Hon Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem, the apex leader of APC in Adogo, the headquarters of Ajaokuta Local Government Area.

The meeting chaired by Hon. Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem, saw the presence of prominent figures such as former and present Commissioners, Special Advisers, Special Assistants, Permanent Secretaries, Local Government Assistant, All ward Assistant to the Governor, Supervisory Councillors, and other elected and serving leaders.

The Ajaokuta APC party chairman expressed appreciation to all stakeholders and emphasized the need for unity and support for the APC candidate in the forthcoming Chairmanship election.

Various speakers at the meeting highlighted the importance of making a positive impact within the party and emphasized the need for collaboration among party members to ensure victory.

They also praised the unity among the party leaders attributing it to the exceptional leadership of Hon Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem who is the overall leader of the party.

Hon Momoh Opiya, the newly appointed Permanent Secretary officially joined the All Progressives Congress, pledged his unflinching support to party’s candidate ahead of the incoming elections. He pledged to work vigorously and closely with party stakeholders to ensure all round progress for APC.

In his remarks Hon Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem rallied support for the APC Chairman and Councillorship candidates, citing his achievements as Ajaokuta Federal Lawmaker as a reference points to keep supporting ruling All Progressive Congress.

The lawmaker endorse the party candidate, Aliyu Ogido Haruna, for the Chairmanship election and assures that he will amplify the Peoples driven policies APC government has innitiated in Ajaokuta LGA.

While appreciating Gov. Ahmed Usman Ododo for his accomplishments and quality leadership in the state, SEA underscored the potential benefits of the state government’s proposed projects, companies for Ajaokuta LGA and the reconstruction of Ebira-Unosi feeder roads.

The People’s leader, Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem specifically commended the APC party Chairman and other executives for their role in the party’s victory, promising to strategically position party executives. He welcomed the new permanent secretary to the party and urge him to reach out for any collaboration and synergy to the benefits of the party and Ajaokuta Citizens. Collaborate with Aliyu Ogido Haruna to and participate in party affairs to ensure victory in the October 19th elections. he added.

Hon Aliyu Haruna Ogido, the APC candidate for the Chairmanship election, expressed gratitude for the support of party leaders and pledged to uphold the principles of the APC by providing quality leadership if elected. He pledged to continue to enhance the unity established by the leadership of the party and continuing to work closely with party leaders to foster development in Ajaokuta LGA.

The incumbent Commissioner of Urban and Housing, Hon. Taiye Abanika, lauded the stakeholders for their commitment to strategizing for the party’s victory in the upcoming election.

The meeting was concluded with a sense of unity and strong resolve among APC stakeholders in Ajaokuta as they gear up for the October 19th election, aiming to secure success in the Chairmanship election.
