A House of Representatives hopeful for Dekina/Bassa federal constituency, Comrade Johnson Musa has condemned the renewed attack on the people of Agbenema in Omala local government area of Kogi State by suspected Fulani herdsmen.
In a press statement, Comrade Musa requested the permission of Kogi State Governor, Alh Yahaya Bello to help tackle the menace as he seems overwhelmed by the attackers.
“How can my Governor, who visited the Ogane-Nigwu area of Dekina local government area few days ago for the sake of Fulani herdsmen attacks still have same news on his land same week? I am prepared to help you.
“It is unfortunate that we are fighting war unarmed. Our people are going to their early graves in large numbers and our properties worth millions going into extinction. Who is fighting Igala people? Who has declared war on Kogi East people without notice of war?
“The government seems helpless and I, Johnson Musa, am ready and prepared to extend my helping hands to avoid further bloodshed. We have marine police, we have vigilantes and Police all over the state, yet we can’t do without bloodshed within this axis!
“The army should be deployed to watch our borders that is much of waterways. These attackers come in large numbers via water ways and attack harmless citizens and still moves away freely. Kogi State must form a synergy with Benue Government to checkmate the movement of these murderers to  avoid further massacre.
“Kogi East people have suffered and dies enough and this should be the last and very last time,” he said.
