Dr. Idris Oluwafemi Rufus (IDRUFEM), a stalwart of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the people of Agbadu and the entire Bunu land over the recent tragedy that claimed the life of two illustrious sons of the community and led to the abduction of four others.
Describing the incident as a barbaric act of terrorism, Dr. Rufus noted that such cruelty is both condemnable and unacceptable in a land known for peace and resilience. He reaffirmed his solidarity with the grieving families and the wider Bunu community during this painful period.
Dr. Rufus emphasized that despite the shadows cast by this unfortunate event, the collective light of the people will continue to shine over darkness. He urged unity and vigilance, stressing that together, the people of Kabba/Bunu Local Government can overcome insecurity and safeguard their communities.
He further promised not to relent in his support for community-driven security efforts and in fostering collaborations with Local, State, and Federal Governments, to collectively overcome the insecurity challenges confronting the land.
