In continuation of his commitment to addressing power challenges across his constituency, the member representing Okene/Ogori-Magongo Federal Constituency, Hon. Ozigi Muhammed Tijani, has once again demonstrated effective and responsive leadership by installing a new transformer at Uruvucheba community in Okene Local Government Area.

The intervention comes shortly after similar installations at Ageva and Idoma communities, which had earlier been reconnected to electricity following months of blackout. The latest installation at Uruvucheba is part of Hon. Ozigi’s ongoing effort to restore power to areas thrown into darkness due to transformer breakdowns.

According to a statement issued by Godwin Orahachi, his personal assistant, Hon. Ozigi personally ensured that the new transformer was installed along with a feeder pillar, aimed at strengthening the power distribution system and preventing future faults. This proactive step underscores his technical understanding and commitment to providing a lasting solution rather than temporary relief.

Residents of Uruvucheba expressed deep appreciation for the timely intervention, noting that the community had been without power for months before Hon. Ozigi’s response. They described his gesture as another proof of his dedication to improving the living conditions of his constituents and ensuring that no community is left behind in developmental projects.

“With this development, electricity supply has been fully restored to Uruvucheba, bringing relief and renewed hope to the people.

“Hon. Tijani Muhammad Ozigi’s latest intervention further consolidates his track record of responsive representation and grassroots development, particularly in the area of rural electrification, which continues to transform communities across Okene/Ogori-Magongo Federal Constituency,” the statement added.
