Director General of the foremost group rallying nationwide support for Governor Yahaya Bello’s 2023 presidential aspiration, the GYB2PYB, Comrade Oladele Nihi has assured stakeholders of his commitment towards making Kogi State Youth Development Commission (KYDC) operational.
Nihi made this known when the advocacy committee on the Kogi Youth Development Commission paid him a visit at his office at Abuja.
The leader of the advocacy team, Comrade Umar Dan’Assabe Muhammed, stated that Nihi was called upon as an important figure who they believe can use his good office in helping the youths in Kogi state to develop.
Responding, Ambassador Nihi said the Kogi Youth Development Commission is a child he played a part in nurturing at formulation statg as the youth council chairman of Kogi state through the Kogi Youth Advocacy Cluster, therefore, he can’t be in a position to be of help and not make it happen because it will amount to bringing down his own sweat and effort.
He promised to do all within his reach to ensure the operationalization of the Kogi Youth Development Commission.
“Governor Yahaya Bello is a youth that loves Youths, that’s why he will not hesitate to accept to the yearning of Kogi State youths. The speedy assent is a pointer to his commitment to youth development in the state and in Nigeria by 2023 when he becomes the President,” he said.
He called on all youths in Kogi State and Nigeria to key into the GYB2PYB dream and produce Governor Yahaya Bello, a youthful president, come 2023.
The DG received the advocacy team in company of the Special Adviser to the Governor of Kogi State on Labour and Civil Service Hon. Bode Adeyemi and the Special Adviser on Water Resources Hon. Adesayo Ismail.
In his remarks, Hon. Bode Adeyemi promised to use his office to influence the operationalization of the commission.
He said anything that will be of the interest of the youths and galvanize support and love for Governor Yahaya Bello is his primary duty, especially amongst the labour force and; the operationalization of the commission will boil-down to labour matters which I will also support when the time comes.
