Hon. Adejoh Akowe is dead. He died at National Hospital, Abuja at about 21:20hrs of Friday 16th October 2020, exactly the same time, hours and day he was attacked and shot by some unknown assassins a week ago at Domibite restaurant in Anyigba.
Late Adejoh Akowe, who attended the just concluded APC primary election that affirmed the candidacy of Prince Ishaq as the flag bearer of the party in Dekina town, returned to Anyigba late night of Friday on 9th of October, and went to Domibite to eat, and was shot by the unknown gunmen who tried to assassinate him that night.
He was immediately rushed to Maria Gorretti Hospital, Anyigba and later to Specialist Hospital, Lokoja, he was moved to National Hospital, Abuja were he finally give up the ghost.
Until his death, he was a former Chairman of Dekina LGA. He is stakeholder of APC in Dekina/Bassa Federal Constituency. He is a great Icon, a political leader with capacity.
Only those who have worked with him directly and know him can attest to his kind of person as a very disciplined, kind and humble in his own way.
He serve as a brother, father, husband, uncle, mentor and guardian to many, as he will be remembered in book of history always.
Hon. Adejoh Akowe, we will miss your type and kind in our generation.
