The African Democratic Congress (ADC) Youths will on December 27 hold a 1,000 man-march in Anyigba, Dekina local government area of Kogi state.

Convener of the march, Hon. Ajodo Onuh and his team made this known in a statement on Saturday.

Ajodo said the 1000 man march program in Kogi East senatorial district is an inspiration born out of passion to entrench and endear ADC as a grassroot people oriented party.

“It is a program that will draw out youths from the various wards, villages and towns of the 9 local government areas of Kogi East senatorial zone in solidarity with the party’s aims and objectives.

“We are bringing 10 delegates from each wards whereby these delegates will further take the party’s message to their various wards which will further transcends to households and so on.

“The youth, as we know, are the work force of any political struggle or structure,” he said.

Ajodo called on all sons and daughters of Kogi East, especially the youths to be part of the historic movement, noting that the 1,000 man march is a struggle for emancipation and liberation.

The goal of this program is to build a solid foundation at the grassroot whereby all our candidates in ADC will have a smooth and hitch free ride.

He further, stated that as soon as we are done with Kogi East Senatorial zone, we will kick start 1000 man march for Kogi West and Kogi Central which plans are already in the pipeline.

“It requires intentional and deliberate participation.
And we believe posterity will treat us well.
