The Acting National Publicity Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Bashiru Abdul Mohammed (BAM), has commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for complying with the Court of Appeal’s directive by removing a factional group he described as usurpers.
Speaking during his appearance on Politics Tonight on TVC on Wednesday, Mohammed said the electoral body’s action reflects respect for the rule of law.
He further urged the Federal High Court to expedite proceedings in line with the appellate court’s order on the pending suit, while reaffirming his commitment to democracy and due process in Nigeria.
