The opposition coalition platform, African Democratic Congress (ADC) has assured members of equal stake in the party.
Deputy National Welfare Secretary, David Itopa History, gave the assurance during the official unveiling of the party in Kogi Central senatorial district on Sunday.
Speaking at the event held in Okene, Itopa conveyed the assurance of the party leadership to the people of Kogi Central. He emphasized that “there are no old or new members”, but members with equal stake and equal rights to aspire on the platform of the party.
He commended the people of Kogi Central for their resolve to back the opposition coalition. He assured them that the party recognizes their unwavering support.

“ADC promises to carry everyone along in its bid to form a virile opposition to the APC and to take power from the APC across every level of Government in 2027, starting with the forthcoming off-cycle elections,” Itopa added.
In attendance were Senator Tunde Ogbeha, National Vice Chairman, North Central; Engr, Sam Uhuotu, Kogi Central Leader; the ADC State Chairman, Hon. Kingsley Temitope Ogga; Hajiya Mariam Salihu, Hajiya Habiba (former Kogi State Deputy Governorship Candidate), Senator Ahmed Ogembe, Dr. Emmanuel Ozigi, Hon. Aloysius Okino, Hon. Precious Aliyu, Hon. Fortune Omuya, among several others.
