The Adavi Youth Elite Association has condemned the attack on Police Division in the early hour of Saturday which led to the death of three policemen.
In a press statement released a visit to the station on Saturday, President of the association, Comrade Abdulkareem Dania commiserated with families of the fallen policemen.
While describing the attack as barbaric, the association said no man has the right to take the life of another man and urged the state government and security agencies to investigate the dastardly act thoroughly and bring the perpetrators to justice.
He appealed to security agencies not to harass or intimidate residents of host communities who are going about their normal businesses lawfully in the course of investigations.
The association also called for cooperation of host communities with security agencies in order to quickly unravel the identity of those behind the attack.
The association commended Chairman and chief security officer of Adavi LGA, Salami Omuya Joseph, for his prompt actions after the incident, adding that the council boss has done well in terms of security and measures out in place cannot be tempered with by the enemies of the land.
