Adavi PDP Youth Leader Urges Youths To Seek Elective Posts

As Nigerians celebrate the country’s 54th Independence Anniversary, the youth have been advised to rise up to the challenges confronting the nation and seek for public elective positions to salvage the country from current dwindling fortune.

Adavi Local Government Coordinator of  Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Youth Frontiers Kogi State, Comrade Aliyu Abubakar Adeiza, made the admonition on Friday in a meeting at Billy guest inn.

He said that the youth should not leave the political offices for “the clueless politician alone” rather, to stand up to face the daunting task and overhaul the already messed up system. Speaking at the youth gathering of the “Reflex of Leadership”(ROL), at Billy Guest inn, where he was officially honored as member, the youth leader, revealed that the youth is the hope of any country that yearns for meaningful development.

Chairman of Reflex of Leadership in Kogi central, Comrade Bishop disclosed that the situation in Nigeria at present was “pathetic and terrifying” adding that “everybody lives in fear and rarely knows what happens next”.

“Nigeria yesterday was very good, full of employment, peace, unity and harmony but in Nigeria of today, there is Boko-Haram insurgency, kidnapping, Bombing of churches and mosques.

“Another new thing in town is the virulent Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) while unemployment has eaten deep in our country’s fabric”, he said. Earlier, Comrade. Engr. Muhammed Jamiu Habib, Director of Socials PDP National Youth Frontier in Adavi noted that the youth is the engine and agent of any nation.

Muhammed Jamiu expressed optimism that the Reflex of Leadership has provided a good platform for the youth, which he said “they can stimulate upon to become a responsible future leader”.
