The Chairman of Adavi Local Government, Hon. Salihu Adaviriku has assured Kogi Central Senatorial Zonal Executive of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), of his councils’ readiness to partner them for the progress and development of the party and area.

Alhaji Salihu Adaviriku stated this in his speech at Ogaminana when he received the PDP Kogi Central Executive in his office on official visit.
He said the government and the Party needed to collaborate to work for the overall development of the party and Ebiraland.
Alhaji Salihu Adaviriku who acknowledged the supremacy of the party, reminded Ebiras and Adavi people in particular, to remain steadfast for accelerated development in PDP.
He promised not to let the party down as he has complemented the effort of the state government in providing infrastructure in the area as democratic dividend to Adavi people.
The Council Chairman, who later conducted the party zonal officer round some of the projects executed by his administration, pledged unflinching support to the proposed political summit to be organized by Central Senatorial PDP.
Speaking, the Chairman, Kogi Central Senatorial PDP, Mr. Moses Akande, called for cordial working relationship between the party and those in positions of authority. He said the visit was a normal routine to discuss party issues for the benefit of the people and Ebiraland.
Mr. Moses Akande reminded the chairman that the party will organize Political Summit in no distant future to address some myriad problems facing the party.
