The Administrator of Adavi Local Government Area, Hon. Joseph Omuya Salami, Monday, hosted the AEDC boss in his office to discuss the issue of epileptic power supply currently experiencing in the area and to chart a way forward on how to wriggle out from the inadequate power supply.

The Administrator, in his statement, lamented that community leaders paid him courtesy visit to express the ugly experiences their people go through.

He stated that the agreement reached with AEDC to supply six hours electricity light during the day and night has not been adhered to.

The AEDC boss, in his response, stated that the inadequate power supply was not an action of incompetency but as a result of system and power pole breakdown that usually occur during the rainy season.

He explained that the power pole breakdown frequently happened in mid-night which is hard to fix at appropriate time due to the fear of insecurity.

The Administrator urged the AEDC boss to enhance the repair and steady power supply so as to correspond with the high bill of monthly charges.

He further urged them to keep to promise based on the earlier agreement reached prior to this time with the people of Adavi Local Government Area.

He pledged to contribute his own quota to the development of steady power supply in the society.
