Adavi 2019: My Aspiration is a Divine Call – Asuku

A frontline House of Assembly aspirant in Adavi local government area of Kogi state, Alhaji Ishaq Asuku Ilyas has described his ambition as a divine call.
Asuku, popularly known as ‘Rich Man’, made this disclosure yesterday while speaking with Adavi youth frontiers.

He said that it was never his intention to be a politician or a lawmaker but was expressly instructed by God to contest assembly election and touch the lives of his people.

He pointed out that God mandated to him is to change the face of leadership in Adavi and bring about the desired transformation.
He pledged to implement a 5-point agenda if elected in the state assembly. He explained that his 5-point agenda covers agriculture, free health program, youth/women empowerment, stomach infrastructure and education.
The House of Assembly aspirant stated that he would also implement a special welfare package through which he would cater for the old and the unemployed.
Speaking further, Hon Asuku revealed that transparency, accountability and due process would be central in his representation.
He expressed confidence in the All Progressive Congress (APC), the platform upon which he would contest the election.
