Chairman of Kogi State Local Government Service Commission, Hon. Adabenege Adams has described His Royal Majesty, Dr Ado Ibrahim as a selfless and visionary traditional ruler whose desires for just and peaceful society has over the years remained undaunted.
Adams made this known today while celebrating the 92nd birthday of the Paramount Ruler of Ebiraland who doubles as the Acting President, Kogi State Council of Traditional Rulers.
The Local Government Service Commission boss in his congratulatory message said “I sincerely use this opportunity to celebrate our father and amiable role model, His Royal Majesty, the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, Alhaji (Dr) Ado Ibrahim (CON) on this auspicious day of his birthday.
“Your Royal Majesty, we are grateful for your fatherly counsel, admonition and guidance which has translated to having Ebiraland and Kogi State of our collective dream.
“We are particularly glad that even in old age, you divinely remain undaunted, resolute and determined in the quest to make Ebiraland and Kogi State habitable by complementing the government with your wealth of knowledge.”
During the reign of the monarch which has spanned two decades, Hon. Adams revealed that Ebiraland has witnessed prosperity, noting that many Ebira people “rose to high and enviable political, social, economic and religious positions with attendant enduring peace that have brought prosperity to the land”.
Consequently, Hon. Adams prayed God to bestow on the revered monarch long life amidst prosperity so the people of the state can enjoy more of his fatherly guidance.
