Ace Journalist, Stanley Ajileye Receives Distinguished Community Service Award

Pastor Stanley Omoniyi Ajileye, a renowned Media personality and publisher of the defunct Kogi Agenda Magazine will on the June 24, add to his medals as the leadership of Ekinrin Adde community has found him worthy to be conferred with Distinguished Community Service Award. 

In a statement made available to our reporters through the National Publicity Secretary of Ekinrin Adde Community Development Association, (EACDA) Mr. Adewale Victor Adekanye, Ajileye was described as a man who has contributed in no small measure to the development of Ekinrin Adde community. 

The statement commended Ajileye’s achievements in the media space, describing him further as someone whose lifestyle has inspired so many people in the community. 

Stanley Omoniyi Ajileye is a consummate Journalist and an astute Media/Political Relation Practitioner. He started his media career with TheNews magazine as an Investigative Reporter in the early nineties.

Ajileye was for a long time the Aviation Correspondent for TheNews and its entire sister publications including PMNews and the now rested Tempo Magazine and AmNews tabloid during which he received the organisation’s letter of commendation as an outstanding correspondent.

While at TheNews in Lagos, he was the NUJ Chairman.

He left TheNews in 1997, when he was invited as Senior Aviation Specialist Correspondent to Grapevine, an International Magazine.

In the year 2000, he veered into professional Media Relations & Marketing Consultancy practice joining  SY& T communications, a Public Relation/Marketing firm, to help in handling the Media Relations and Marketing Account of British Airways in (West Africa). He was the Senior Manager in charge of British Airways Media Relation for Nigeria and by extension, the West Africa office of the organisation until 2006 when he voluntarily resigned and started a private Media Consultancy practice under an incorporated name Knightgate Konsults International. 

While at British Airways as a partner in SY&T Communications, he brilliantly handled successfully, all media crises that came with the dual designation of the Nigeria/British Bilateral Air Service Agreement. He equally professionally handled to the delight of all, the Governor Alamesigha saga; Stanley was commended for using his professional brilliance, through the media, to vindicate British Airways, without compromising the airlines’ policy on manifest confidentiality.

Stanley is renown when it comes to Corporate Media Crises Management.

He is today, the President of Knightgate Group. He was the Publisher/Editor-In-Chief of now rested KOGI AGENDA, an authoritative monthly magazine.

Stanley Omoniyi Ajileye a graduate of Political Science at Ahmadu Bello University Zaria is an Alumnus of the prestigious Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ) where he had a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism/Public Relations (1994). 

A well-traveled Stanley Omoniyi Ajileye had several communication trainings abroad.

These includes Training on Crisis Communication (London 2004) and 

Emergency Procedure Training (London 2005).

Stanley, an alumni of Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria, is a recipient of several awards.

As a clergy, Stanley is an Area Pastor with the RCCG. He is also a Provincial Council member of the church. 

Pastor Ajileye is the President of  Redeemer’s  Men Fellowship and the Provincial Coordinator of the newly established RCCG Directorate of Politics and Governance. 

Ajileye is a core activist and a crusader of good governance. He is  Deputy Director General (North Central Nigeria) for the  PDP Global Network for Good Governance.
