Abortion is when a pregnancy is ended so that it does not result in the birth of a child, sometimes is called the “Termination of pregnancy”. Abortion is a situation where by a pregnancy ended while the baby is too small to live.
It has become the frequent practice of young girls in our contemporary time, due to the awareness of abortion, girls now indulge in illegal sex because they know that if they get pregnant, it has become a new normal for most ladies, not only teenage girls.
Teenage girls take pride in aborting pregnancies without considering the repercussions or the side effects. These acts are committed by girls who are underage and in the course of this abortion they get to lose their womb which will definitely affect their future if not their present.
Premarital sex is a sin known to us all, as well as fornication but that has become a thing of joy for teenagers and young adults, engaging in sexual activity that would lead to pregnancy.
Teenagers should avoid having an intimate relationship with the opposite sex, because when he or she is intimate with the opposite sex, the possibility of engaging in sex which may in turn result to pregnancy becomes high.
Since a female child is perceived to be a weaker vessel with weaker body and mind, they tend to fall victim of early pregnancy and may engage in abortion to avoid embarrassment. This abortion according to research affects the mental and physical health of a woman. Although some ladies are easily attracted to flashy things that affect their decision making, it is still advisable that they are not taking advantage of.
Young girls can’t make decision for themselves, they see every kindness from a male friend as just gifts. They are open minded to their friends, either boy or girl, a guy can come and act to be a friend and the guy will let the female be so into the friendship before he makes his move.
There are various ways to avoid abortion, which are;
Sex Education; the youth should be given lectures on sex education because sex does not only happens to the Ladies, there would have to be an agreement between the two parties. They should be taught on the use of condoms and also taught on the dangers of having sex when they are not ready to bear children.
Use of effective contraception: People should be aware of the existence of contraceptives which are effective and which they can take after sex because there will be possibility of pregnancy after sex.
Abortion is very dangerous and it always have side effect on the victim medically and spiritually. Doctors are not supposed to engage themselves in aborting pregnancies for underage girls, but some greedy doctors will go ahead and abort pregnancies.
There is a saying that goes thus “There is no smoke without fire”. Young people gets pregnant due to some reasons, ignorance, bad parental guidance, peer pressure, frustrations, and also because some want to feel among and they would want to be like their friends, simply because their friends are collecting money and some sort of gifts from their boyfriends or sugar daddy.
There is no harm in making friends but, caution needs to be taken, in dealing with friends. “Friends means well even if they hurt you, but when an enemy put an arm around your shoulder, watch out!”. Proverbs 27:6.There are some friends that are wolf in sheep’s clothing ,bad friends always have evil intention some are envious of other peoples progress, and others would decide to have you just for nothing. It takes a strong will for someone to resist pressure.
People consider abortion an option because they don’t want to face the shame of having a child out of wedlock and because they don’t want to mother a child. Being pregnant at a small age is not a death sentence, you can find help when you least expect it, if you want to abort the pregnancy the chance is 50/50 because you are not sure if you would survive or not.
Only irresponsible female engage in illicit sex with someone old enough to be their father because of money or any other reason, and when it results into pregnancy they would be given money by the old man to abort the foetus, then the abortion would be done by a quack doctor that knows absolutely nothing about the body system, the doctor would give the wrong medication, then the womb would be destroyed and the man would forget about the lady and focus on his wives and children and would no longer want to have anything to do with a loser. If you enjoy that thing call sex as a teenage girl, married woman and more, you should be prepared for the outcome of it.
