The people of Abobo Community in Okehi Local Government Area of Kogi state have expressed deep appreciation to the Auditor -General for Local Government, Honourable Siyaka Yakubu Adabenege for his prompt response in restoring damaged transformer in the area.
In an appreciation message signed on behalf of the community by Hon. Oyibo Adeku, the community noted that the prompt intervention of Honourable Adabenege has saved the community from further darkness after over one year’s power blackout.
“Your timely intervention has brought hope and relief to our community. Your kindness and commitment to improving the lives of our people are truly commendable. Your donation will go a long way in restoring power supply, enhancing economic activities, and improving the overall quality of life for our residents”, he said.
While appreciating the leadership style of Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo which the community affirmed has produced selfless leaders like the Auditor-General for Local Government, Hon. Adeku noted that Abobo Community is patiently waiting for the right time to reciprocate the gesture.
Hon. Adeku opined that Governor Ododo’s welfarism belief has rubbed off on his mentees like Honourable Adabenege and would make the Governor’s re-election easier than imagined.
