Abejukolo Community Commends Senator Aidoko Over Rural Electrification Project

The people of Abejukolo in Omala local government area of Kogi state has commended Senator Atai Aidoko Ali for extending electricity supply from Abejukolo town to Bagana and its extension to Okpotala in the interior part of the area.
The people of the area made this statement during the visit of some stakeholders of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) led by a youth leader and mobilizer, Mr Adown.
Mr Adown said with the provision of over six transformers by Senator Aidoko  in Abejukolo, the problem of epileptic power supply had become a thing of the past in the town and neighbouring communities.
They promised to continue to mobilise more support to the re-election of PDP candidates, including the senator, to ensure the continuity of his social intervention programs and people oriented leadership in the area.
The youth leader stated that Senator Aidoko’s provision of three unit of classroom block at Idrisu had reduced to the barest minimum the perennial incidence of natural hazards during the rainy season and hazy weather that may affect the well being of the people.
“We are not unaware of his donation of 500KVA transformers to Ogodu, Ibado Akpacha and the provision of a borehole to the people of Agbenema Ife and Abejukolo.
“He also built a classroom block and skill acquisition centre in Abejukolo town, to attract vocational programs for the teeming youths of the area,” he said.
Responding, Senator Aidoko told the visitors to extend similar information to other electorate from the area, to diffuse the lack of projects labelled against him since 2015.
He said his strong reasons for wanting to return to the senate was to make the ranking advantage to reach out to the people in terms of social, economic and political advancement of the area.
He promised to continue to provide an enabling environment within the framework of the law making, to ensure more dividends of democracy.
