Mr. Ezekiel Durojaiye, a retired community health personnel who was kidnapped in Okunran community alongside two others, has regained his freedom.
A reliable source, who pleaded anonymity, confirmed to this reporter on Monday that Mr. Durojaiye has been reunited with his family.
The source disclosed that he is currently in Odo-Ere, the headquarters of Yagba West local government area of Kogi State.
Although details surrounding his release remain sketchy as at the time of filing this report, it is believed that he was released unhurt.
Efforts to reach Odo Ere Divisional Police Officer for an official statement were unsuccessful due to network glitch.
The development has sparked widespread relief among residents of the Yagba West, who have been grappling with increasing security concerns in recent times.
