More than ever before, Nigerians thirst for a new dawn. The very type that births true democracy instead of a demonstrated craze. While the political class can rightfully be sneered at for doing very little or nothing at all as regards to improving our society, It is however not solely obligatory for only the political class to repair, fund or be held accountable for the situation of things in the country.
Corruption has been able to ridicule every aspect of the Nigeria society such that the presiding Head of a given grammar school could be embezzling the little fund meant for her maintenance. While this is a sad reality, it has grown to become a mode of operation of most Nigerian. Instances of wanton disregard for the Nigerian constitution extremely insulting to rational thinking.
Obviously, for most Nigerians, when the sunset on their backs and life goes commercial, they forget leaders and do what they know how to do best, survival. We are carriers of something similar to a time bomb. It is very easy to blame the government because they are at the forefront.

I remember visiting a location in Kogi state. It was the hometown of a particular senator. I was shown round the secondary school that he attended. It looked like a rusted Volkswagen. Almost everyone blamed the senator for failing to help rebuild his old school but no one remembered that there were other students also.
The blamers! Very sweet talking fellows. They are quick to push blames. I have seen them in commercial vehicles. They blame the government for potholes on our roads but they are the mob who are ready to offer jungle justice on a suspected criminals by roasting them on highways thereby deteriorating a once tarred road. Ah! Tell me, do you really have a moral right to criticize the government or you are just angry because nature provided you with peasant parent? When all you ever wished for was to be the son Gov. Sulei Murmuni.
I know you really want to laugh it off but beneath the grudge against the reckless abuse of power by all levels of government, we must understand that only a few are geared towards a genuine cause. The rest are nothing but an ocean of bandwagon who are so quick to criticize but will do same or even worse if given the chance.
What is my gospel? real change is not really about criticizing rather it is amongst other things, the act of doing it differently and more so, rightfully. Why do you hate the All Progressive Congress Party? because you didn’t get a slot? Don’t be Fani.
(I laugh) So then why do you love the People’s Democrat Party? Because they shared it all.
