The people democratic party (PDP) and other groups such as Afenifere and Ohanaeze Ndigbo express concern over the steady decline in Nigeria democracy under the current administration, citing authoritarian tendencies and Executive over reach.

The worsening Insecurity and harsh economic reforms have sparked critics with some calling for urgent action to address these issues.

Stakeholders including civil society groups and progressive forces are urged to collaborate to deepen democratic practice and push for reforms that promote transparency, accountability and Good Governance acceptable to all stakeholders.
Addressing insecurity.
There is a call for establishing state police and community policing systems to tackle the manage of Insecurity in the country if given an objective consideration.
