In the spirit of the Eid-el-Fitr celebration, Hon. Sule Abdulnafiu has played a host of leaders, supporters, loyalists, and Muslim faithful of the member representing Yagba Federal Consistency on behalf of Hon. Leke Abejide.
Hon. Sule who hosted loyalists and supporters of Hon. Leke in his country home in Isanlu, Yagba East Kogi state explained that there was “a need to bring ourselves together in a time like this to chat and relate with one another and strengthen the progressive bonds that exist amongst us.”
According to Hon. Sule Abdulnafiu Ilesanmi, the Muslim faithful received special packages of both cash gifts and rams to Muslim supporters, while he also made the celebration necessary for people to be cheerful and jolly during the Sallah celebration, saying the gesture is part of his usual support for people to celebrate the Sallah in a happier mood.
He used the opportunity to appreciate the people for their support, and prayed for peace, unity, and progress, urging the Muslim community to embody the values of sacrifice, compassion, and obedience which the festival represents and to continue to support Hon. Leke Abejide the people’s representative.
“May Allah accept our deeds, forgive our sins, and continue to prosper Hon. Leke Abejide in all his endeavors,” he added.
