Overwhelming majority of Yagba masses are with Elder Leke Abejide in view of his impactful, responsible and purposeful representation.
His sterling and enduring legacies as an exemplary legislator touching lives, facilitating infrastructures, outstanding contributions in education, health, agriculture, philanthropist gesture to the downtrodden and the less privileged, human capital and community development has endears the heart of the overwhelming majority of the masses to him.
In other clime an exemplary and performing legislator like Elder Leke Abejide has always given opportunities to continue their good works.
WE HAVE SOME NATIONAL ASSEMBLY MEMBERS THAT HAS BEEN REPRESENTING THEIR PEOPLE SINCE 1999 BECAUSE OF THEIR PERFORMANCE AND THE PROSPECTS THEIR CONSTITUENCIES STAND TO DERIVE BY SUCH ARRANGEMENTS ?
YAGBA MUST ALSO CONSIDER SENIORITY AND RANKING AND NOT ONLY CONSIDERING SECTIONAL BALANCING FACTOR ONLY
Senator Ahmad Lawan (Yobe North), Senator David Mark(Benue South), Senator Ike Ekremadu (Enugu West) Rep Wole Oke Rep. Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives were also legislators in whom their people reposed confidence in them just like the entire masses of Yagba are well pleased with Elder Leke Abejide.
It is high time the good people of Yagba should prefers meritocracy rather than sectional balancing.
Indeed Elder Leke Abejide performance deserves third term and the sentiment of sectional balancing should be discarded for now.
We must sue for sustenance of credible, responsible and quality representation.
