Member representing Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, Honourable Salman Idris, has extended warm congratulations to Nigerian workers on the occasion of May Day.
Describing workers as the backbone of the nation, Hon. Idris praised their tireless efforts in driving the country’s growth and development.
In a statement on Thursday, Hon. Idris commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his government’s thoughtful decision to extend the tax holiday for Kogi workers for another year.
This move, according to him, demonstrates the governor’s commitment to alleviating the economic hardship faced by workers in the state.
Hon. Idris noted that the tax holiday extension will significantly benefit Kogi workers, allowing them to retain more of their hard-earned income. He expressed gratitude to Governor Ododo for his leadership and vision in prioritizing the welfare of workers in the state.
