The founder of Musa Wada Foundation, Comrade Musa Wada has berated the Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan over her altercation with the Senate President, Senator Senator Godswill Akpabio.

Comrade Wada, a public affairs analyst, in a statement issued in Abuja on Friday, maintained that “such unruly and disrespectful behavior of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan towards the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio is uncalled for and should be condemned by the lover of democracy in the country”.

According to him, Nigeria is blessed with great women who are making bold statements in politics and have respect for constituted authority.

“It is however disappointing and disheartening to see a woman who should know better descend so low and behave in such despicable manner in which Senator Natasha behaved. What more irritating is the gender card Senator Natasha is trying to play.

“It is a practice all over the world that parliamentarians must act and behave in a way that reflects the core values the lawmaking body stand for and there are rules that guide the activities of the lawmaking body and one of such is for a lawmaker to seat and speak from there allotted seats and if there is any issue affecting a lawmaker there is a laid down channel a lawmaker who is aggrieved can lay complain but instead of Senator Natasha to tow the part of honor to air her view or grievances as the case may be, she decides to go against the standard practice and choose to take law in her hands.

“Senator Natasha should know that she is voted by her people to represent them and she must act in a manner that will show that she truly deserves to serve her senatorial district effectively and efficiently rather than making enemies for herself. If our dear Senator must know she needs the support of her colleagues to deliver her promise of quality representation to her senatorial district. It is high time Senator Natasha review her approach and mannerism at the Senate if she is ever ready to represent her people”, he stated.
