A foremost political group in the North Central The Confluence Patriots has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his commitment towards the growth and development of the north central region through the establishment of the north central development commission (NCDC)
Reacting to the establishment of the North Central Development Commission on Tuesday, The Confluence Patriots in a statement by its Chairman Hon Sani Idakwo Philips expressed profound gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his commitment towards the development of the grassroots in the north central region.
Idakwo stated that “through the establishment of the North Central Development Commission, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has ensured equity, fairness and justice in the developmental process of his administration. The bill will ensure accelerated development of the region”
There have been calls on the president to sign the bill establishing the north central commission into law. The law seeks to strengthen the economy and infrastructural development of the geopolitical zone.
It is expected that the President will send a supplementary budget to the National Assembly in order to capture the newly created North – Central Development Commission, NCDC, in the 2025 budget.
