‘He Was a True Gentleman’; KONGONET Mourns Kogi Lawmaker

Kogi NGOs Network (KONGONET) has sent its condolences to the 8th Kogi State House of Assembly over the demise of one of its former Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Paul Enema.

In a condolence message signed by its Chairperson, Amb. Idris Ozovehe Muraina, the NGOs Network said late Hon. Enema’s departure was a profound loss not only to the House but also to the entire Kogi State community.

KONGONET noted that Rt. Hon. Enema Paul was a true gentleman that known for his integrity and commitment to public service.

“His role as a diligent lawmaker was marked by a distinct penchant for people-oriented legislation and a remarkable ability to collaborate with civil society organizations. His efforts in championing the needs of his constituents and advocating for the welfare of the people will always be remembered.

“As a team player, he fostered an environment of cooperation and mutual respect within the assembly, inspiring his colleagues and constituents alike. His legacy of dedication and service will continue to resonate within Kogi State,” the message read.

The lawmaker died in Abuja after a protracted illness in the early hours of Saturday.
