Deputy National Publicity Secretary of All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Durosinmi Meseko has described the outcome of last Saturday local government election in Kogi state as a significant victory for the party
Reacting to the outcome, Meseko praised the results as a testament to the leadership of Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Usman Ododo and the trust the people have placed in the party.
The election results revealed that the APC won in all 21 Local Government Areas, securing all Chairmanship and Councillor positions. Voter turnout was notably high, with many eager to participate in the democratic process.
Hon. Meseko commended the peaceful conduct of the elections and applauded the citizens of Kogi State for their commitment to democratic values. He attributed the APC’s success to Governor Ododo’s dedication to good governance, infrastructure development, and improving the lives of the people.
Additionally, the Deputy National Publicity Secretary stated that this victory is a clear mandate for the APC to continue its progressive agenda in Kogi State.
He urged the newly elected officials to prioritize the needs of the community and work diligently to fulfill their campaign promises.
