Hon. Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem, House of Representatives Member for Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, attended the official flag-off of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the upcoming chairmanship elections.
The event saw strong support for APC candidate, Aliyu Ogido Haruna, as party members troop out in their numbers led by Hon SEA for a walk and tour in about six wards showcasing strong support based for the ruling All Progressives Congress
Prior to the rally, a prayer session was held at Hon. Abdulraheem’s residence, where both Muslims and Christians Clerics, community leaders, traditionalists, Monarchs, and party supporters gathered to seek divine intervention for Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s continued success.
The flag-off rally drew an impressive turnout of past and current serving leaders from Ajaokuta Local Government Area, showcasing a united front and depicting a collaboration for APC’s electoral success.
Party supporters present chanted slogans, waved flags, and expressed their willingness to defeat the opposition in the forthcoming Chairmanship elections
While praising Gov Ododo for prioritizing the civil servant welfare, citing the approval of the 72,500 Minimum wage amidst other challenges, Hon. Abdulraheem encourage grassroots support and urged party faithfuls to engage with their communities to ensure APC candidate wins the Chairmanship election for easy amplification of Gov Ododo’s policies.
The event concluded with speeches from party stalwarts and other dignitaries, underscoring Ajaokuta’s collective resolve to deliver Aliyu Ogido Haruna in the forthcoming election.
