The Senior Special Assistant to Governor of Kogi State on Print, Mrs Balikisu Avoyi Nwogu, has expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support from well wishers since the demise of her husband, Mr. Emmanuel Nwogu, a.k.a Doctor.
Mr. Emmanuel Nwogu passed onto glory on August 28 this year aged 68.
Speaking with our reporter in Lokoja on Thursday, Mrs Nwogu, a broadcast journalist, said the family has announced dates for her late husband’s funeral rites.
According to her, there will be a service of songs in honour of late Mr Nwogu in Lokoja on October 7, 2024 at 99, Apamisede Estate, behind LGEA primary school along Shettima-Barracks road at 4pm.
There will be another service of songs on October 11, 2024 at Nwogu’s compound, Umuaweke Umuevu Onicha, Ezenihittie Mbaise LGA, Imo state by 4pm.
The lying in state and interment will hold on October 12 at Mr. Emmanuel Nwogu’s compound, Umuevu Onicha, Imo state by 8am.
On October 13, there will be a thanksgiving service at Christ Embassy Onicha, Mbaise ezenihittie LGA, Imo state by 8am.
