Ahead of October 19 local government council polls, in Kogi state, the leading chairmanship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) for Ajaokuta local government area, Hon Bala Mohammed, says he has a well thought out and integrated master plans that will bring a total turnaround for the people and the area, if given the chance to be the council chairman.
Hon Bala Mohammed, who fielded questions from Journalists shortly after he was presented the flag of the party as the authentic candidate for Ajaokuta local government council by the SDP chairman, Mr. Oricha, in Lokoja on Saturday, boasted that he will win the contest under a rancour free atmosphere.
As a grass roots politician, Hon. Bala Mohammed explained that he has an articulated master plans to turnaround the fortune of the suffering Ajaokuta citizens through the provision of effective leadership.
The chairman hopeful, said security, youth, women employment, provision of social amenities and securing lives and property of residents will form the cornerstone of his administration if voted in as their chairman.
Honourable Baba Mohammed, who expressed explicit confidence to Kogi state independent election commission to conduct a transparent, credible, and acceptance election during the October 19, local government council polls, said it is a call to action to all eligible electors to come out to cast their votes for his candidature.
According to him, with the presentation of the fag by the party’s hierarchy, the field is now set for scale campaign in all the wards to canvass for electoral victory, urging the electors to embrace his political aspiration.
“Ajaokuta local government area will be delivered for the Social Democratic Party under a hitch Free contest, I have the implicit confidence that Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission [SIEC], will do the needful to rewrite its name to conduct the exercise that will be accepted by all,” Bala quipped”.
