Minister of Steel Development, Prince Shuaib Abubakar Audu, has felicitated with the Christian faithfuls as they join their counterparts worldwide to celebrate Easter, which marks the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
This is also as the Minister urged Nigerians to reflect on the essence of Easter, which brings hope to mankind, and to remain hopeful in the ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’ of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, which is already delivering on dividends of democracy.
Prince Audu’s Easter message was conveyed in a statement made available by his Special Assistant Media, Lizzy Okoji, on Saturday in Abuja.
The Minister also called on Nigerians to use this season to continue to pray for the peace, unity, progress, and development of Nigeria as well as for Mr. President, and all other leaders.
“I want to congratulate our Christian brothers and sisters on the celebration of Easter, which commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ, a very significant event in Christendom, and also on the end of the Lenten season, which is also a time of sacrifice, and prayers to God.
“Nigeria is a country loved by God, and it is no coincidence that this year’s Lenten and Ramadan seasons fell during the same period. The season provided an opportunity for Nigerians, irrespective of their faith, to offer prayers to God for the betterment of our dear country.
“This past week, we have seen visible economic progression, with our naira strengthening and other economic indicators improving. This is a clear indication that our economy is stabilising under the visionary leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinibu GCFR, and we are assured of better days ahead.
“Again, I want to urge Nigerians to reflect on the essence of Easter and show love for one another, especially the vulnerable and those in need, live in peace and harmony, and continue to be our brothers’ keepers.
“Once again, happy Easter to our Christian faithful, and may the resurrection of Jesus Christ bring alive all our hopes and expectations as individuals and as a nation,” Prince Audu stated.
