Kogi State Focal Person of National Social Investment Programme (NSIP), Abdulkereem Onyekehi has congratulated Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for the successful inauguration ceremony.
According to statement signed by Prince Onyekehi on Saturday, he commended Governor Ododo for starting on a good note stressing that, his recent appointment of new cabinet members showed his determination to continue with developmental stride of the previous administration.
Onyekehi stated that Ododo’s emergence as Governor was historic in Kogi State, adding that Kogites were united to produce a leader who has been tested, trusted and fully ready to serve his people.
While noting that Governor Ododo will not derail from his campaign promises of ensuring Kogi State of of dream, the NSIP focal person called on all and sundry to support his administration to succeed.
“It is a dream come through for the entire people of Kogi State and Nigeria in general that a young vibrant and workaholic gentle Man has been sworn in as the fifth democratically elected Governor in Kogi State.
“No doubt Kogi is in a safe hand as he will consolidate the good work of our mentor Alhaji Yahaya Bello former Governor of Kogi State. As he begin the journey of a better, united and progressive Kogi State, we are very optimistic that Governor and his Deputy Joel Salifu will make us proud.
“I have confidence in Ododo to consolidate legacies of the immediate past Governor His Excellency Yahaya Bello CON. His Excellency Governor Ododo is indeed a worthy successor of Yahaya Bello with proven dedication and loyalty,” he stated.
Onyekehi also congratulated the newly appointed cabinet members by Governor praying that they will deliver for the people of Kogi State.
“I want to specifically congratulates the Chief of Staff to the Governor Alh Aliyu Bello and other cabinet members for this well deserved appointment. There engagement by the new administration was not by accident but merit. With this foot soldiers who are always dedicated to the service of humanity, Kogi will forward”.
