Ahead of November 11 Kogi governorship election, Engr Silvanus Babatunde Ẹlẹwà has rehabilitated no less than 23 boreholes across Mopamuro local government area.
This was part of Engr Ẹlẹwà’s ‘let there be portable water across Mopamuro LGA’ initiative.
Elewá said during his tour round Mopamuro local government he noticed the pain and agony his people had to pass through to get portable water and was motivated to swing into action immediately by rehabilitating over 23 boreholes within seven days.
In his bid for good governance, Elewa said, “I can’t behold my people passing through hardship to get access to portable water.”
“I have chosen humanity first by ameliorating water scarcity, awarding scholarship to students and construction of ultra modern market, before playing politics,” he said.
Elewa urged the people of Mopamuro to vote the governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Usman Ododo on Saturday.
