Kogi Central senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the last general elections, Chief Natasha Hadiza Akpoti-Uduaghan, has extended an extraordinary act of generosity to her long-time nanny, Miss Damaris, by gifting her a house in the capital city, Abuja.
During the official housewarming ceremony, Natasha expressed her deep appreciation for the unwavering love and care Miss Damaris had provided her family over the past decade.
She highlighted how Miss Damaris had transformed from a nanny into a second mother to her children, offering steadfast support throughout the ups and downs of their lives.
“I asked that you take this two-bedroom house as a token of our deep appreciation for the love and care you have shown my family,” Natasha stated, acknowledging Miss Damaris’s role as an inspiration. “It’s only natural for me to reward you with this,” she added.
In response to this kind gesture shown to her, Miss Damaris advised caregivers to remain dedicated to their roles, emphasizing the importance of not taking what doesn’t belong to them and loving every child under their care. She stressed that all children deserve love and should never be mistreated for any reason.
This uncommon act of kindness by Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan serves as a testament to her love and a poignant reminder of the profound impact caregivers can have on the lives of the families they serve.
