The former Executive Director, Rural Electrification FUND (REF) in the Rural Electrification Agency (REA) and 2023 APC Governorship aspirant, Dr. Sanusi Ohiare has felicitated with the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello CON on the occasion of the 32nd year anniversary of the Confluence State.
In a statement released to mark the occasion, Dr. Ohiare also congratulated the people of Kogi state for their resilience, commitment to peace and respect for law and order – all of which combined to make the State one of the most peaceful in the Nigerian Federation.
“As a proud Kogite, I’m sure that looking at where we were at creation in 1991, and what we have achieved since, especially in the last 7 years under the leadership of a unifier and genuine bridge builder like our amiable Governor, all Kogites appreciates the amazing strides we have taken in 32 years of statehood”.
He expressed the belief that the dreams of the Founding Fathers of the state will continue to be realized under the progressive leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and therefore called on the people to vote for continuity as they prepare for the gubernatorial election scheduled for November 11th, 2023.
“We have in His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, a Governor who prioritizes the peace, growth and even development of all parts of the state. We must ensure that we vote wisely in the forthcoming Governorship election to ensure that this trajectory of Egalitarianism is sustained in our dear State. The All Progressives Congress is the surest bet for Kogites in this regard”, the statement concluded.
