Education is an integral part of the society, the development and progress of mankind can be directly attributed to educated people, education can also help to determine the quality of one’s life as it improve one’s knowledge skills and personality it also help in employment and increase over the year formal education has been recognize as a tools for emancipation, transformation of lives and bridging the gap between the high and low income earners of the society. With education, people can become better citizen, knowing right from wrong, allowing for a better society where laws are followed as educated people. We are consider as a valuable source of knowledge for our society. Having education helps us to teach other moral and ethics, the main purpose of education is to make a peaceful and happy living society, without education, it is impossible to make a peaceful and happy life.
Education is one of the factor that influence the progress of people and that of society. In addition to provide knowledge, education is very important to our society. The more knowledge we develop, the more we can do with our future. Education help individual become wiser, it also provide opportunities to develop new skills, increase creativity and innovation, gain knowledge and understanding build critical.
It should be noted that education remain the bedrock of national development. One of the role of education is self-discovery, education is an agent of illumination and as such, the level of awareness and understanding of human existence is enhance when more people get formal education in the society.
