Rep Abdulmaleek Danga Visits NIOMCO Itakpe, Assures of NASS Cooperation

Member representing Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency of Kogi State, Hon. Abdulmaleek Abdulraheem Danga, has assured the management of National Iron Ore Company (NIOMCO) Itakpe of his support and cooperation.

The lawmaker gave the assurance when he paid the management of NIOMCO a courtesy visit on Wednesday.

He commend the management of the company for their efforts to ensure the company remains afloat.

The Rep member said he was there to interface with the management of the company and also to find out where they think he could be of help to get things done.

Engr. Samson Ajulo, who received the lawmaker, said their major problem is the insecurity around the company.

Ajulo stated that the sole administrator of NIOMCO was kidnapped sometimes ago to butress the sickening security concern around the company.

He urged the lawmaker to move a motion on the floor of the House of Reps on need to find lasting solution to the security concerns.

He appreciated Hon. Danga for always being a good, patriotic and listening leader.

In same vein, the Rep member visited the NIOMCO Staff School in Abobo. The school principal, Mr. Itopa Audu and other staffs were on ground to receive him.

The school principal expressed his happiness towards the visit and expressed gratitude to Hon. Danga for his continued support.

The lawmaker appreciated the principal and the staff of the school for maintaining the good standard for the school over the years.

He promised to always reach out to the school when needed.

He went around the school premises checking out some of their laboratories, and ICT centers and promised to be readily available to provide adequate help making sure the school remains a school of pride for the community and the state at large.
